Salve o Thobias.
Nossa luta ainda não acabou. Não iremos desistir jamais, mas para isso precisamos mais do que nunca da sua ajuda.
Acreditamos ainda em um mundo solidário, onde pessoas "fazem o bem sem olhar a quem", e esse "quem" é uma criança de apenas 1 ano e 10 meses que ainda não teve a oportunidade de conhecer as coisas simples e gostosas da vida, como ir a uma praia e sentir a areia nos pés, brincar na grama, com os amigos e tudo oque uma criança realmente deveria viver, e é por isso que estamos aqui, queremos proporcionar isso e muito mais.
Amamos demais esse pequeno, para quem ainda não conhece esse carinha super feliz, esse é o nosso filho Thobias, que luta contra a leucemia (Leucemia Linfoblástica Aguda LLA-B do Lactente - Alto Risco) desde 02/09/2020, que agora se tornou refratária.
Nosso pequeno tem sido um guerreiro, se mostrando muito mais forte que nós. Foram meses de quimioterapia, idas ao centro cirúrgico e inúmeros procedimentos, e fomos então indicados para o tão sonhado transplante de medula óssea, onde foram mais alguns meses de tratamento e procedimentos até à realização do transplante no dia 15/04/2021.
E foram dias tensos desde então, esperando que tudo aí se resolveria, mas não foi assim, e a notícia que mais temíamos nos foi dada 87 dias depois do transplante, a leucemia havia voltado, foi assustador, pensamos que perderíamos ali nosso filho. Estávamos em outro Estado (Paraná), e do dia para a noite já estávamos em nossa cidade iniciando os possíveis tratamentos.
Começamos então um tratamento chamado de imunoterapia, pois devido a ele ser recém transplantado não poderia utilizar de quimioterapias convencionais devido a alta toxicidade. Ao final de 32 dias de tratamento com a imunoterapia, a doença havia reduzido consideravelmente, e víamos aí uma saída, respirávamos um pouco, porem após 14 dias, novamente a doença voltou com agressividade, tomando mais de 50% da sua medula óssea e essa terapia já não mais era eficaz ou segura.
Já utilizamos dos mais atuais medicamentos disponíveis no Brasil e infelizmente a doença se mostra resistente, tão resistente que foi necessário a retirada de um dos testículos que fora comprometido pela doença.
Estamos utilizando de outras medicações para tentar controlar a doença ao máximo.
Mas não iremos desistir!
Agora estamos buscando um tratamento fora do país chamado Car-T Cell, estamos em contato com vários hospitais ao redor do mundo, os destinos que mais nos parecem alcançáveis, ainda sem definição por diversos detalhes são os Estados Unidos e Europa.

O valor até então esta baseado nas consultas que realizamos, e até agora está em torno de 2.500.000,00 (dois milhões e meio de reais), podendo aumentar em caso de intercorrências não esperadas, estaremos atualizando aqui na medida que formos alinhando as informações junto aos hospitais.

Our fight is not over yet. We will never give up and we really need your help more than ever.
We truly believe in a solidarity world, where people "do good without looking at whom" and saying this bring you to my child Thobias, he has 1 year and 10 months. Until today he has not had the opportunity to know the simple and pleasant things in his life as going to the beach and feeling the sand on his feet, walking on the grass, play with some kids and everything else that a child should really experience. That’s why we’re here, we want to provide him these experiences and so much more.
We really love this little one. For those who still don’t know him, he is a super happy guy. He is our son Thobias, who has been fighting against leukemia (Infant’s Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia LLA-B - High Risk) since 09/02/2020, by now his leukemia became refractory.
Our little one has fought like a warrior; he has been showing himself much stronger than us. We went through months of chemotherapy, visits to the surgery centers and countless procedures. After a long-awaited we were then referred to a bone marrow transplant that we had so dreamed about. In this stage we went through more months of treatment and procedures again until the transplant was done on 04/15/2021.
It’s been tense days since then. We were hoping that everything would resolve with the bone marrow transplant, but it didn’t happen. Unfortunately, the result was what we most feared. It was given to us 87 days after the transplant, the leukemia had returned, it was frightening, we thought we would lose our son here. In this time, we were out of our state, in another state called Parana, and during the same night we hit our city and at the next morning we could start once again with the possible treatments.
For this stage we started a treatment called immunotherapy, as he was recently transplanted, he could not use conventional chemotherapy again due to high toxicity.
At the end of 32 days of treatment with immunotherapy, the disease had reduced considerably, and we could see/feel an end for all of that. We breathe a sigh of relief, but after 14 days, the disease returned aggressively, taking more than 50% of his bone marrow and this therapy was no longer effective or safe.
We already use the most current drugs available in Brazil and unfortunately the disease has proven resistant, so resistant that it was necessary to remove one of his testicles that had been compromised by the disease.
We are using other medications to try to control this disease as much as possible.
We won’t give up!
Now we are looking for a treatment out of our country that is called Car-T Cell. We are in contact with several hospitals around the world. The destination is still unknown as we need to clarify several details but we are in contact with some hospitals that are located in the United States and Europe.

The fund value we are looking for is based on the details we have until now from these hospitals and from other Brazilian families that are facing the same disease as Thobias. Saying this, we are seeking for something around 2,500,000.00 (two and a half million reais – Brazilian currency), which might increase in case of unexpected complications, we will be updating this website and all social media as soon as we have the current information from the hospitals.
